How should I dress for a balloon flight?
In addition to good footwear (hiking shoes/trekking shoes), we recommend clothing suited to the temperature conditions. Dress similarly to how you would for a hike, but not too warmly. There is no wind in the basket, and you will also feel the warmth from the burner.
A hat is not strictly necessary, but it can be helpful due to the heat from the burner. In summer, a t-shirt or shirt with a thicker sweater for backup is usually sufficient. Since our flights typically take place in sunny weather, don’t forget your sunglasses. Also, protect your skin from sunburn. In winter, the snow reflects the sunlight significantly!
You are also welcome to bring a small backpack and some drinks.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The balloon flights only take place under good weather and wind conditions. If the flight is canceled, your next booked date will automatically be reserved for you. If you have not yet agreed on an alternative date, please contact us.
Our motto in aviation is: "When in doubt, do not take off!" Therefore, we ask for your understanding if we need to postpone a flight even when the weather seems fine. In rare cases, it may also happen that a balloon flight must be canceled last minute, on-site.
Safety is our top priority!

What do our relatives and friends do if they are not flying?
They are welcome to join us during the preparations and at the balloon's launch. They can also follow our support vehicle with their own car and meet you again at the landing site.
-
How many passengers fit in the basket?
Our hot air balloons come in different sizes and capacities. Our smallest balloons can accommodate 2 passengers, medium-sized balloons can take up to 8 passengers, and the largest ones have a capacity of up to 15 people.
-
Can children ride in the balloon?
Children are welcome from school age onwards – younger children are only allowed on private flights. However, we advise against balloon flights with very young children, as they often get bored after about half an hour.
The final decision is left to the parents.
